Who we are
FreiBow Community, Stella Lehn, David Kümmerle, Tobias Landwehr, Thomas Brugger and Klemens Schmelter. Each of us contributes our own expertise to make the trade fair a unique experience together with you.
Fusing modernity and tradition, strengthening networks and promoting archery has been our goal since 2013 within the PaderBow trade fair (the trade fair in the north will return in mid-May 2026).
Klemens
CEO - Management, Chairman Arjuna Institute
Klemens A. Schmelter founded Bogenzeit in 2002. More than 20 years ago, after studying pedagogy, he integrated special content into the Intuitive Archery training sessions.
He leads seminars/training courses and uses his work to promote “mindful” archery in schools and clinics. Schmelter is trained in the occidental way of the bow, is involved in various clubs and has completed further training in therapeutic archery and ritual consciousness methods (according to anthropologist Prof. Michael Harner). As an archery instructor and yoga teacher, he incorporates aspects of Asian centering techniques into his lessons in new ways. As chairman of the Arjuna Institute, he organizes training courses and consultations.
With his small team, he has been organizing the PaderBow trade fair since 2013 (back in East Westphalia in mid-May 2026) and the FreiBow since 2024. Pioneering major events on the way to archery as a popular sport.

Stella
COO - Organization & Project Management
Stella Lehn is a coach and active employee of a social organization in Munich.
Since 2024, Stella Lehn and Klemens Schmelter have formed a dedicated team that takes care of the organization of events.
Her heart beats for successful and effective processes and connecting communication.
She provides the soul of the team.
