By car
Coming from the east, the trade fair centre can be reached via the A81 motorway and the B31. Follow Schwarzwaldstraße to the motorway feeder road Mitte and take the exit to Messe, which is also signposted.

Parking - Car parks
For those travelling by car, there are parking spaces directly in front of the exhibition grounds. The parking fee is €5 per day.
Information on other public transport
Train connections
Freiburg is very easy to reach by Train and is located on the ICE/IC route Frankfurt – Karlsruhe – Freiburg – Basel. You can reach Messe Freiburg from Freiburg main station by public transport in approx. 10 minutes.
Public transport
Die Messe Freiburg ist gut an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr angebunden. The city railway line 4 runs every 7.5 minutes from the main station to the terminus “Messe Freiburg” in 10 minutes.
Visitors from the Black Forest and Kaiserstuhl can easily reach the trade fair centre by taking the Breisgau S-Bahn (lines 1 and 11) to the “Freiburg Messe/Universität” stop, from there it is about an 8-minute walk.
By bike
The Freiburg bike hire system „Frelo“ has a Frelo station directly at the Messe Freiburg terminus and at the Solar Info Centre (Technical Faculty stop).
For cyclists with their own bicycles, Messe Freiburg offers numerous bicycle parking spaces directly in front of the main entrance to the exhibition centre.
Intercity bus connections
Numerous intercity buses connect Freiburg with many German cities. The bus station is located directly at Freiburg’s main railway station, from where you can reach the FreiBow in 10 minutes by taxi or public transport.
