Archery Safety:

Time: 4 :00–4:45 p.m., Lecture Hall

INFORMATION

Safety in archery—whether in the indoor range, during outdoor FITA training, or on a 3D course—here’s a presentation that also addresses the often-overlooked aspects of the topic.

Safety in Archery
The term “safety”—often mentioned in archery in statements such as “Safety is
’s top priority” or “Every archer is responsible for the safety of their own shot.”
Upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that the concept of security takes various forms
comes into play
– for anyone who picks up a bow and arrows—whether as a student, a beginner, or
As an advanced rider—whether on your own, with a club, on the arena, or off-site/on a course
– for anyone who practices archery on their own property
– For anyone who runs, supervises, organizes, or offers archery events
as part of a club or organization
– For anyone who operates an archery range
Some of these points may seem almost trivial and self-evident, while others
you may not even be fully aware of.
The presentation will address the most important and relevant topics regarding “safety in archery” and
the responsibilities associated with it.
This presentation should not be viewed as a comprehensive and exhaustive training session in the sense of a detailed
security seminar.
