Accessibility on the FreiBow

For people with reduced mobility

Travelling by public transport

FreiBow and Messe Freiburg can be reached barrier-free from the “Messe Freiburg” terminus. The stop is located in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition centre and is connected to the exhibition centre by a tactile guidance system.

Arrival by car, parking spaces

Disabled parking spaces are available in the Messe Freiburg car park (authorisation card required):

Most disabled parking spaces are located directly in front of Hall 1, from where barrier-free access to the exhibition halls is possible at ground level. Additional car parks are located in front of Hall 4, from where barrier-free access to the exhibition halls is possible via a ramp next to Hall 4.
This means that the FreiBow in Hall 2 is easily accessible.

Accessible visit to the Freibow

A barrier-free visit to the FreiBow is possible without any problems. Access to the exhibition halls is via a wheelchair-accessible ramp with a maximum gradient of 6% on the Hall 4 side. On the Hall 1 side, access is completely at ground level. The entrance doors have no thresholds and are sufficiently wide for wheelchair users with a minimum width of 90 cm. Wheelchair-accessible lifts are available in all conference areas to make it easy to move between rooms.

The hall and foyer are, of course, barrier-free, and wheelchair-accessible toilets are available in all event areas.
